Jurors see clip from 'Jesus Camp' documentary

Jurors considering whether Joshua Komisarjevsky should be executed for the 2007 Cheshire triple homicide or spend his life in prison listened to testimony from an expert on religion Tuesday and viewed part of a documentary on a Pentecostal summer camp for children. The defense team is trying to convince jurors that Komisarjevsky’s unorthodox upbringing, combined with the alleged sexual abuse he suffered as a child, is a mitigating factor.

This is nothing short of psychological and emotional child abuse.
