During testimony Monday, workers from the Bank of America branch where Jennifer Hawke-Petit was forced to go to withdraw money during the home invasion were called to the stand. The same bank staff also testified during the trial of Steven Hayes.
Police say Hayes forced Hawke Petit to accompany him in a car and withdraw $15,000 from the bank. She reportedly told a bank teller her family was being held hostage; this led to a bank employee calling 911.
